My Grandmother explained and told me to follow this logic , so as per Grandmother's culture she explained us that our Hindu day starts from sunrise and ends on sunrise.
The western culture follows the 12:00 Clock culture , there day changes from 12 in midnight and next day starts after 12 midnight.
My Grandmother told that Tithi can start in any time of the day and will end on next day after sunrise.
For example , Sunday will start from sunrise and end on Monday's sunrise , this is our Hindu Vara logic.
As per Hindu Dharma the ending day of the tithi governs the day so if the Purnima ends after the sunrise of day then that is the day of celebration.

In India Fishermen Communites in Maharashtra and Goa are known as Kolis, this caste people live near Arabian Sea , in parts of Mumbai , Navi Mumbai , Thane , Palghar , Malad and from Kokan till Goa.
For these fishermen this is the day to pay gratitude to Gaurdian of Ocean (Lord Varun Dev) which they call as Daryacha Raja (दर्याचा राजा).

In Airoli once we saw the Puja happening near Airoli-Mulund Bridge all Diva Koliwada Koli were coming to offer Coconut in Airoli Khadi , there were many
Brass Band playing koli songs and Koli people were dancing.
Huge crowd of Koli and Agri people are gather to offer coconut to ocean from which they have earned so much wealth.
So in Airoli there are Koli and Agri communities which pray and worship Lord of Ocean Daryacha Raja.

Koli people worship their local village gods in the morning, collect coconuts from their trees, and gather in the center of the Koliwada.
In this fun tradition, one person holds a coconut in their hand while another person smashes their coconut against it.
If a coconut breaks, the other person wins that coconut!
Narali Purnima Celebration that I saw in Worli , Thane and Airoli
In Worli Goan in Koliwada all Koli people use to put lighting in the area and banners wishing नारळी पौर्णिमेच्या शुभेच्छा (Happy Narali Purnima) use to display by all political parties and local leaders of the Koliwada.
Full Koliwada use to be decorated and all boats use to halt at seaface and Koli people use to dress in their Traditional Dress and wear lot of Gold.
Koli caste people are the Original Fishermen in Maharashtra and Goa.
Son on this auspicious day the clean their boats , decorate them and do Puja of the boat.
In these places fishermen are called as Koli but in Hindu Koli's have caste which is called as Koli.
It's said Koli's are the original people of Mumbai , they live in Goan for example in Worli they live in Worli Goan and the place where this community lives is called as Koliwada.

This competition I have seen at Worli Koliwada and Sion Koliwada , Lonavala Ekvira Devi temple many of Koli Brothers gather actually everyone who wants to join is welcomed there no matter which caste you belong.
Some bring coconuts from home in brown goni (brown sack) while some people buy from local shops and they just come and start breaking coconuts and whole crowd shouts on one guy winning , the broken coconut is the price of winner.
All of these broken coconuts are taken by winner at home and many recipes are made from this like Coconut Burfi and special dish for this occassion Narali Bhat rice made by using coconut.
